In a welcome move for Indian two-wheeler buyers, major manufacturers like Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor, and Yamaha India have officially announced price reductions across multiple models, passing on the benefits of the recent GST revision directly to customers. This change comes into effect from September 22, 2025, making it an exciting time for anyone planning to buy a new motorcycle or scooter.
The GST rate cut on bikes below 350cc has enabled companies to make their products more affordable, with savings ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹18,000, depending on the model and variant.
India’s top two-wheeler manufacturer has announced price drops of up to ₹10,000 across its commuter and premium segments. The Hero Splendor+, Passion Xtec, and Glamour Xtec are now cheaper by ₹5,000–₹7,000, while the Xtreme 160R 4V sees a price cut of around ₹9,500, offering unbeatable value in the 160cc category.
TVS has passed on savings of ₹8,000–₹15,000 across key models like the Apache RTR 160 4V, Raider 125, and Ntorq 125. Even the popular TVS Jupiter 125 scooter gets a price revision, making it one of the most budget-friendly options in its segment.
Yamaha has joined the lineup of brands cutting prices, reducing costs on the FZ-S Fi V4, MT-15 V2, and Aerox 155 by up to ₹12,000. These new rates make Yamaha’s sporty lineup even more attractive to young riders.
With these GST benefits passed on, buyers can now enjoy lower on-road prices, affordable EMIs, and extra savings during the festive season.
