Among the most popular Kawasaki bikes are the Z900, Ninja ZX-10R, and Ninja 300. The upcoming launch to watch out for is the Kawasaki W230, while the Ninja H2 SX SE stands as the brand’s most premium offering, priced at ₹32,95,000.

India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan. The brand entered the Indian market in 2009 through a partnership with Bajaj Motorcycles and went on to establish its independent subsidiary in July 2010. Initially, Kawasaki assembled its motorcycles at Bajaj’s Akurdi facility, starting with the legendary Ninja 250R.

Currently, Kawasaki assembles several bikes at its 40,000 sq ft manufacturing unit in India, including the Z250, Ninja 300, Ninja 400, Ninja 650, Z650, Versys 650, ZX-10R, and Ninja 1000. These bikes come in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and SKD (Semi Knocked Down) formats, ensuring competitive pricing in the premium motorcycle segment.

While Kawasaki is globally known for its ventures into ATVs, Jet Skis, and Watercrafts, in India, the brand exclusively focuses on high-performance motorcycles. It even offers top-tier models like the Ninja H2R to Indian enthusiasts. Additionally, Kawasaki has expanded into the off-road and dirt bike category, introducing models ranging from 100cc to 450cc.
